HONEYGUIDE Self-Catering Cottage is a six sleeper cottage situated on the famous Sani Pass, nestling at the base of the little Berg on Stromness Farm, which borders directly onto the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site.
This former trading station from the 1890's era is perfectly situated for hiking, trout fishing, river swimming, mountain biking, bird watching, nature walks and of course a drive up the famous Sani Pass. This historic site has a charm and sense ...
In a valley among the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg lies a secluded lake, a natural sanctuary far from the distractions of modern life.
In the southern half of the Drakensberg Park lies the Cobham State Forest, and through this forest winds a track suitable only for four-wheel drive vehicles. The track leads up to the Sani Pass, the only overland route into Lesotho from KwaZulu-Natal. Sani Pass is also the third steepest pass in the world winding through some of Africa's most spectacular scenery.
